NoteTab Standard can be evaluated by downloading NoteTab Light. NoteTab Light offers an option that turns it into a trial version of NoteTab Standard for a period of one month (after that time it reverts back to its normal freeware state). The extra features you get to evaluate are:
Clipbars -- user-made toolbars Edit handy outline-type documents Command for reformatting and justifying lines Can search/replace text in disk files Modify and save EBCDIC files
The registered version adds a thesaurus and a multilingual spell checker. These are currently not available for evaluation during the trial period.
